My favourite percussion crew

My favourite percussion crew is  Naadro crew. Naadro is one of the most popular percussion crew in the world and according to me it is the best percussion crew in Sri Lanka. Master Rakitha Wickramarathne was the founder of Naadro and he started it in 2007. Rakitha Wickramarathne, Gayan Manokumara, Nupathi Nilambara, Ranga Nuwantha, Rusiru Rathnayake, Devinu Muthugala, Hashan Weerasinghe and Shashi Periyapperuma are the key players of Naadro. 


                    






Naadro crew is always creating some beautiful compositions by using Sri Lankan traditional drums and Latin percussion instruments. That compositions are very clear and powerful creations. I would like to show you a beautiful act of Naadro from the link below.

Naadro 

As a crew they launched the biggest percussion event in Sri Lanka called 'The Bera Fest' in 2017. It was a brilliant concert and a big experiance for us as Sri Lankans. 



 






I  was interested about Naadro crew since my childhood and as a percussioist my dream is become a member of Naadro crew. So i do my best for success my magical goal. Hope you'll enjoy about my blog.

  Art is an important thing to our personal life and our society. Craft is the basement of art. So if we don't mastering the craft we can't make the art. The bond of art and craft is like bark on a tree. The art is making from the work of people. It's called human process. I would like to show you some arts who made from the result of human process.     This is some arts namely  dancing, singing, acting and painting.  All these subjects was made by the result of  human process. For an example, if we want to be a good dancer, we should do the practices every day. If we don't do the practices we can't be a good dancer. So practice means mastering and mastering helps to create a new art. And we have to study other dancing styles. My Favourite Dancing Style

    My favourite dancing style is Low Country dancing style. It is the main Dancing tradition in three areas in our country. There are Mathara, Benthara & Raigama. The main peace ceremony of this dancing style is called 'Dewol Maduwa' and the story of  Dewol Maduwa is based on King Seramaan.         This is the main drum of  Low Country dancing tradition. It is called 'Yak Beraya'. Kithul, Ehela, Pol, Kohomba are the types of wood using to make Yak Beraya.        This is the main costume of Low Country dancing tradition. It is called 'Thelme Costume'.
