WHO I AM

 




 

I tell about me like this. My name is Thinusha Nethsara Dassanayake. I am 21 years old. My school is Prince Of Wales College and I am the only child in my family. Some people say that I am a funny boy.😅😅😅. But sometimes I feel like it that the works I do. I  had lot of friends since my childhood and still there in my university. Among these friends I have special team of friends.



 
 
These is the special team of my friends. These are percussion instruments and you can find another side of me. Yes you're correct 👍. I am a percussionist. Othervise I can both up country and low country dancing styles, I can sing, I can play some instruments like percussion intruments, guitar etc.
 
 
 
 
 My favourite colour is red & I don't like black. My  favourite food is kottu & I don't like noodles. Kataragama is one of my favourite place in Sri Lanka. Some people say 'I want to be a doctor, I want to be a teacher I want to be an engineer'. But I want to be an ARTIST. Art. is a medicine that we can use for build up the mental fitness. So one day I will be an artist to achive this magical purpose...... That's all about me. Hope you'll enjoy my blog...

My Favourite Dancing Style

    My favourite dancing style is Low Country dancing style. It is the main Dancing tradition in three areas in our country. There are Mathara, Benthara & Raigama. The main peace ceremony of this dancing style is called 'Dewol Maduwa' and the story of  Dewol Maduwa is based on King Seramaan.         This is the main drum of  Low Country dancing tradition. It is called 'Yak Beraya'. Kithul, Ehela, Pol, Kohomba are the types of wood using to make Yak Beraya.        This is the main costume of Low Country dancing tradition. It is called 'Thelme Costume'.
